FLOWER RANGOLI ACTIVITY

"Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited while imagination embraces the whole world."   Creativity is an elusive and contested concept. According to UNESCO, “the encouragement of creativity from an early age is one of the best guarantees of growth in a healthy environment of self-esteem and mutual respect - critical ingredients for building a culture of peace.”  Students of Amity School, Bharuch made these wonderful flower rangolis as a part of their activity club and each one came out with their best and innovative ideas to make their presentation most attractive. 

Sports Club Activites

It is said that the enhancement of physical and mental development of children is certainly the most important contribution.  Students of Amity School, Bharuch are always exposed to such developmental activities especially sport activities. In the sports club by playing sports children develop physical skills, exercise, make new friends, have fun, learn to be a team member, learn about play fair, improve self-esteem, etc.

GHOOMAR DANCE

Folk Dances of Rajasthan are entertaining and tells us about the culture and rich heritage of Rajasthan. It has many forms of folk dances which are attractive, skillful  and are popular all around the globe. Among the different varieties of folk dances, Ghoomar dance from Udaipur have also gained international recognition. Ghoomar is a traditional as well as an enthusiastic folk dance of Rajasthan. Ghoomar or Ghumar was basically developed by the Bhil tribe and was adopted by other Rajasthani communities. Students of Class 4 presented a dance performance on the same to reflect a glimpse of this dance form. 

STAGE PRESENTATION ON THE MODHERA DANCE FESTIVAL

The exclusive three day Modhera Dance Festival is held every year during the third week end of January after the conclusion of Uttarayan festival. It is also known as "UTTARARDH MAHOTSAV" Children of Class VIII-B performed in the school prayer program on the folk dances of four different states presenting a replica of the actual festival.
