GHOOMAR DANCE

Folk Dances of Rajasthan are entertaining and tells us about the culture and rich heritage of Rajasthan. It has many forms of folk dances which are attractive, skillful  and are popular all around the globe. Among the different varieties of folk dances, Ghoomar dance from Udaipur have also gained international recognition. Ghoomar is a traditional as well as an enthusiastic folk dance of Rajasthan. Ghoomar or Ghumar was basically developed by the Bhil tribe and was adopted by other Rajasthani communities.


Students of Class 4 presented a dance performance on the same to reflect a glimpse of this dance form.
